Judit Talyigás became the head of department at the Health Organization Planning and Information Center (ESZTIK) in 1978, where she played a role in the establishment of MEDINFO. From 1979, she was the determining coordinator of the development and application of domestic medical computer systems (e.g., she was the secretary of the Computer Application Committee). From 1983, she became the driving force behind the development of medical expert systems at the National Technical Development Committee (OMFB). As an expert under Zoltán Ajkay, she was responsible for exploring the possibilities of computer application in the health care program. She is an active participant in the work of the Informatics History Forum (iTF), and has made numerous video portraits - including from the healthcare field. For her work, the NJSZT awarded her the Neumann Prize in 2019. |
