Construction equipment and vehicle fleet utilization accounting system

The German subsidiary of ICL (International Computers Limited) (ICL Deutschland) developed a construction industry program package called IMBAU for the ICL 1901 computer, one of the central elements of which was the "Geräte und Fuhrpark Auslastungs Abrechnung" (equipment and machinery park utilization accounting) program product prepared by Hungarian specialists from Infelor.

The programs were written in the Cobol programming language for the ICL 1901 computer.

The ICL 1901 computer was sold to more than a dozen German construction companies with the promise of the completion of the construction software package called IMBAU - including the Hungarian-developed software system. After delivery, the product was put into use immediately, and no defects were reported within the warranty period.
