Education, professional qualification:
As an electrical engineering student, he worked with Professor László Kozma. He creatively studied the basics and methodology of programming.
From 1960, he worked in the Technical Group operating the Ural 1 (later Ural 2) type computer of the Central Statistical Office. As László Pintér writes in his work cited below: “his most important and most reliable instrument was a rubber hammer”: he used it to tap the frame of the computer cabinets to detect contact faults in the computer.
From 1965, he worked at the Theoretical and Methodological Department of the Computer Management Company (SZÜV), and then was its head for 10 years.
He later became the head of department of the State Administration Computer Service (ÁSZSZ). He died young.
