    In 1976, he started working as a programming mathematician at the Central Statistical Office (KSH) Computer and Administration Company (SZÜV), then as a system developer at Volán Tröszt Elektronika he participated in the training of the use of TPA machines at the Central Physical Research Institute (KFKI) of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Between 1986 and 1992, he was the head of the programming department of the Hungarian Iron and Steel Association, then as a computer consultant to the Budapest office of Tata Consultancy Services (India), he participated in the tendering processes of banking software.

    He is one of the designers of the platform supporting the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). He defended his PhD thesis there in 2008, in which he examined the transparency of business decisions and their preparation with an expert system. Based on his teaching and research work, he was declared a habilitated doctor at the University of West Hungary in 2016. In his habilitation theses, he examined what new behavioral patterns are emerging in the digitalized age, building on the latest findings in behavioral economics, economic psychology, and artificial intelligence.

    From 2012 until his retirement in 2021, he was an associate professor at the Keleti Károly Faculty of Economics of Óbuda University (ÓE); between 2018 and 2020, he was the Deputy Dean for Research of the Faculty. Since 2016, he has been a developer and reviewer of the courses of the Carpathian Basin Online Education Center (K-MOOC). During the development, he helps younger and more experienced students to explore their own learning paths by visualizing the connections between key concepts. In his online courses, he produces mixed content that is prepared by combining multiple sources and shows new connections. He is a lecturer and supervisor of the Doctoral School of Security Sciences of ÓE.
    He regularly participates in international conferences and is a guest lecturer at domestic and foreign universities.

    He is one of the developers of the Doctus knowledge-based expert framework, which has been used by several large domestic companies (MOL, Matáv, Antenna Hungária) to prepare decisions.

    The Senate of the ÓE awarded him the "Ornament of the Óbuda University" award in 2020.
    The Ministry of Innovation and Technology recognized his successful professional activities in 2020 with a "Ministerial Certificate of Recognition".
