Vilmos Vaspál

Between 1979 and 1981, he worked at the Salgótarján Computer Center of the College of Finance and Accounting, and then for a year, he was a software developer for Videoton's foreign software customer service. Since 1982, he has been a freelance software developer.

In 1990, he founded FreeSoft Ltd. with his wife and friends, which deals with the development and implementation of large-scale enterprise applications. After 12 years of successful software development, he took the company public and remained its CEO until 2012. FreeSoft made several successful domestic acquisitions (Axis, BankSoft, HUMANsoft) and also appeared abroad (Germany, USA, Australia).
As soon as the company is listed on the stock exchange, he and some of his colleagues buy out the “application migration” business and leave the company he founded. After the listed company received a new name (2012, 4iG Nyrt.), there is no obstacle to relaunching the well-known old brand. At the new FreeSoft, the so-called “legacy modernization” (platform renewal) service previously operated for foreign markets will be updated.

Between 2002 and 2004, he was a member of the board of the Association of Information Technology Enterprises (IVSZ). In 2005, the organization recognized his work with the IT Manager of the Year Award.
