    Between 1980 and 1985, he worked at IBM Australia as a developer and project manager; he programmed on IBM systems in GIS and PL/I languages.

    Between 1986 and 1989, he was a consultant and then managing director of Munich-based R+S Computer-Consulting GmbH; the software house's main profile was the outsourcing of German developments (nearshoring) to Hungarian companies.

    In 1989, he founded Montana Kft. (later Zrt.), which he has led since 2000. The company is a pioneer in the field of document management and semantic search systems in Hungary. Since 2015, Montana has been one of the developers of so-called intelligent search systems using the tools of artificial intelligence and computational linguistics.
    Montana has twice received special praise for its products at the Hungarian Innovation Grand Prix competition.
    The company's sister company, Noreg Kft., deals with information security.

    He began his studies at the Military Technical Doctoral School of the National University of Public Service (NKE) in 2012. He defended his thesis in 2018.
    Since 2019, he has been a researcher at the NKE Information Society Research Institute on the application areas of intelligent search systems.

    He actively participated in the founding of the Association of Information Technology Enterprises (IVSZ). Until the end of the 2000s, he was a member of the Joint Venture Association and the presidency of the National Association of Employers and Industrialists (MGYOSZ).
