    Between 1977 and 1978, he worked in the office equipment development laboratory of the Electronic Measuring Devices Factory (EMG). From 1978 to 1999, he was a programmer and then an associate professor at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Kandó Kálmán Technical College (KKMF). In the meantime, he was an external lecturer at the Technical College of Light Industry for 4 years (he taught the subject of Computer Science). In addition, he held intensive software technology courses for various companies.

    In 1990, he earned a doctorate in Computer Science from BME. Between 2000 and 2010, he was the developer, lecturer and responsible for the subject module Software Technology at the Budapest Technical University (BMF). In addition to continuously overseeing the software technology specialization, he was the Deputy Director General of BMF between 1996 and 2000; between 2004 and 2013, he was the Director of the Software Technology Institute of the Neumann János Faculty of Informatics (NIK) of BMF. Between 2000 and 2015, he was the Vice Rector for IT at BMF, later Óbuda University (ÓE), and since 2015, he has been the Director General for Innovation. He is constantly involved in the development of the BSC and MSC curricula of the Engineering Computer Science major and in the education of students. In 2007, he earned a PhD degree from the University of Pannonia (P-graph-based workflow modeling with fuzzy extension); He habilitated at Széchenyi István University in 2013. Since 2020 he has been an honorary university professor at the University of Budapest.

    In the meantime, he held intensive courses abroad (University of Applied Sciences, Wildau, Germany, 2009-2015; Fachhochschule für Technik, Esslingen, Germany, 1999-2015). He was a lecturer on the subject Software Wiederverwendbarkeit in the spring semester of 1991 at the University of Karlsruhe (Germany).

    His research areas include: User Interface Design; development of a business process-based software development methodology; innovative hybrid strategies for outsourcing-based software development models. He has been continuously working as a software developer, actively participating in numerous international and domestic projects.
