Andras Talyigas
After graduating, he started working at the United Incandescent Light Bulb and Electric Co., Ltd., and then worked at the Budapest office of the Fine Fittings Factory in Eger, designing pneumatic systems (participating in the design and development of the first Hungarian robot (MECMAN), which was also a success at the Budapest International Fair (BNV). He gave lectures and exercises on the topic of automation with pneumatic elements, organized by the Institute of Engineering Continuing Education of the BME (Budapest University of Technology).
In 1978, he switched to computer science at the Computer Applications Research Institute (Számki); then he became a scientific associate and senior fellow at the Computer Applications Company (Számalk) for more than 10 years. Under the organization of Számalk, he worked as a program developer for years in Germany and Austria - at Honeywell Bull, Philips, Siemens.
Since 1992, he has been one of the founders of Investa Kft., and as managing director, he managed the work of software developers on foreign projects. Their main partner was the Finnish company Nokia, but they also had assignments in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He continued this activity from 2000 as managing director of Target International Kft.
At the same time as the latter, he participated as a co-owner in the establishment of Ekren Könyvkiadó Kft. in 2004. He was the managing director of the book publisher for more than 10 years. Here, in addition to managing the publication of numerous sports and literary books, he also participated as an editor in the publication of technical books.
From 2009 to 2011, he led a project at the Hungarian Telegraph Office (MTI): to solve the digitization of the accumulated image collection.
After retirement, he worked remotely on software projects for Maya International Ltd. in Canada.
