Klára Szmrecsányi
After graduating from high school, he started working as a technical draftsman. He graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of ELTE University in the evening department of applied mathematics. Meanwhile, from 1968, he programmed on Minsk-2 and Minsk-22 computers at the Infelor Systems Technology Company, and then worked on the development of application systems.
From 1972, he participated in the comparison and analysis of database management systems during the evaluation of international offers required for the planning of the State Administration Computer Service (ÁSZSZ). In the framework of this, he became familiar with the selected Honeyvell-Bull IDS database management system at courses in Hungary and England. In line with the further transformation of the institution, he worked as a senior research fellow in database design at the Computer Application Research Institute (Számki) from 1976, at the Computer Application Company (Számalk) from 1982, and between 1990 and 1995 at Számalk-DATAMAN Kft. as an application system developer.
Between 1995 and 2000, he was a system developer at IQSOFT Rt.; between 2006-2011, he was a system consultant at IFS Hungarian Kft.
His extraordinary programming and systems design skills made him suitable for participation in major projects.
He received the Outstanding Employee Award in 1974 and 1987.
