  • He began his professional career in 1966 under the supervision of József Hatvany at the Automation Research Institute (AKI) of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He was involved in the development of the first domestic cathode ray tube display. He graduated from university in the evening program.

    From 1968, he organized the design of the Minsk-23A computer machine room of the Beloiannisz Telecommunications Factory (BHG), and then participated in its technical operation. He expanded the computer with machine instructions as part of several innovations, and then, together with Tamásné Tóth, he created the multiprogramming environment.

    In 1973, he was one of the founders of the National Computer Technology Company (NOTO-OSZV). He directed the development of the Hungarian Unified Computer System (ESZR) reference computing center, and then managed it until 1978. Within the framework of the ESZR program, he participated in the magnetic storage working group. He participated in the international testing (approval) of numerous hardware devices, several times as the head of the delegation.

    From 1978 he participated in the domestic training of ESZR hardware (R35, R45). Since the successor of OSZV was the Computer Application Company (Számalk) from 1981, he continued his activities there. In 1984 he taught Russian at their Cuban counterpart. For years he carried out joint curriculum development with the Robotron training center. After the ESZR program was discontinued, he taught the management and programming of IBM-PC operating systems and application software packages (text and publication editors, spreadsheets, database managers).

    From 1992, he continued his education at the CONTROLL Training Center and then at the CONTROLL Training Center. He was an instructor and examiner for the ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) program from 1997.

    He has continued to teach since his retirement in 2006, including at the Computer School Secondary School and the Vocational High School. Since 2009, he has been leading the "Introduction to Computers - for Seniors" course at the Jókai Club.
