Judit Szekér
As a junior lawyer, he joined the Computer Coordination Institute (SZKI) in 1981, where his responsibilities included legal support for foreign trade tasks. When the SZKI SCIL Subsidiary was established, he was also responsible for the full legal administration and representation of the new company.
He developed the sales and warranty conditions for the M08X microcomputer.
He represented SZKI as legal advisor in the foreign trade partnership agreement concluded between SZKI and Metrimpex.
He gave several lectures on software copyright protection; the concept he advocated, according to which developers of software created in an employment relationship receive royalties, was later included in the Copyright Act.
His later jobs were related to legal fields.
He was a private lawyer between 1990 and 1996. From 1996 to 2004, he was the legal director of Philip Morris Hungary Ltd., then the secretary general of the Academy of Music, and later the head of the Legal Services Department of DAS Legal Protection Insurance Co. Ltd. From 2012, he was a chief advisor in ministries, then a ministerial commissioner. From 2016, he was the director general of the Institute of Judicial Expertise and Research, and from 2017, he was the deputy director general of the National Expertise and Research Center (NSZKK).
