    Between 1969 and 1971, he participated in the investment and commissioning works of the new cement production lines of Dunai Cementművek (DCM, Vác) and Beremendi Cementművek (BCM) (handover and acceptance measurements, technical inspection activities).

    From 1971 to 1987, he was a lecturer and practice leader for the subjects Measurement and Automation and Process Control at the Silicate and Chemical Engineering Department of the Pollack Mihály Technical College (PMMF) (laboratory design, note-taking, TDK work management).

    Between 1987 and 2011, he participated in the development and modernization of the curricula of the technical informatics major at the PMMF (later the Pollack Mihály Faculty of Engineering, University of Pécs, PTE PMMK) that started in 1987. From 1992, he was the head of the full-time department, from 1994, the head of the distance learning department and the head of the specialization, while from 2006, he was the head of the specialization of the BSc in engineering informatics program.
    In the 1987/88 academic year, he headed the Department of Automation, and from 1992 to 2011, he headed the Department of Technical Informatics.

    Between 1972 and 1990, he participated in energy rationalization-related work for the construction and building materials industry as a supervisor for solving process identification and automation tasks.

    Between 1991 and 1992, as Deputy Chief Scientific Officer of the PMMF, his task was to coordinate research and development activities.
    From 1992 to 2011, as the supervisor of the research and education-development projects of the Department of Technical Informatics, his task was to manage the work carried out for industry/economy and to utilize it in education.

    In 1983, he defended his doctoral thesis entitled “System Engineering Investigation of Cement Factory Raw Flour Production” at the University of Chemical Industry of Veszprém (VVE), while in 2009, he defended his PhD thesis entitled “Modeling and Identification of Urban Water Steam Network” at the University of Pannonia (PE).
    He has written about 55 publications, 15 college notes, and 50 research (application) final reports.

    His scientific and public activities: member of the National Technical Informatics Committee, member of the Scientific Committee and Education Committee at the PTE PMMK, and member of the Engineering Informatics Committee. Later, member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences public body (Technical Chemistry Scientific Committee – Process Engineering Working Committee), member of the Measurement Technology and Automation Scientific Association.

    Awards: For Excellent Work (Ministerial Award, 1983); Pollack Memorial Plaque – Gold Grade (PMMF, 1988); College Level Award (PMMF, 1990); Gold Department Award (PPMF, 2002).
