After his college studies, he immigrated to Canada in 1972. In the 1980s, he worked as a trade representative in several European countries.
He moved back to Hungary in 1987, where, using his knowledge, talent, way of thinking and international experience, he relatively quickly became a significant participant in the then-developing domestic IT market.
In 1987, he founded HRP Hungary Kft., and then in 1991, Business Software Center (BSC) Kft., which focused on software distribution and license sales. By the 1990s, HRP had risen to become one of the 3-4 largest domestic IT importers and wholesalers (distributors) companies - as the only purely domestic enterprise. It has maintained a strong market presence ever since. In 2007, the year before the unexpected death of its leader, the BSC group of companies was among the largest in the country with a sales revenue of 28 billion forints. Since then, it has been providing almost the entire world's IT offering to Hungarian specialist retailers, thus indirectly to users.
He was a prominent figure in the domestic IT business world, committed to authentic and professional sales.
He was twice elected as a member of the board of the Association of Information Technology, Telecommunications and Electronics Enterprises (IVSZ).
- In 2008, he stated in the ITbusiness VIP RELAY column: “The company became what it is because I, as the founder and leader, have a philosophy, an attitude towards people and the world.”
