András Slyuch

Initially, he worked at various technical units of the Hungarian Post, then from 1980 he became the deputy plant manager of the Békés County Telecommunications Plant. From 1991 he held the position of deputy director of operations at the Debrecen Directorate of Matáv. From 1996 to 2018 he worked in the areas of telecommunications authorities. In 1996 he became the Debrecen director of the Hungarian Communications Authority (HF), then in 1998 he became the director of the Northern Hungary Communications Authority. From 2001 he was the vice president of the National Communications Authority, the head of the Regional Communications Office, and then the deputy director general of the National Communications Authority (NHH). From 2005 he was the head of the Debrecen unit of the NHH (later the National Media and Communications Directorate - NMHH).
As a regional manager (in the counties of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Hajdú-Bihar, Szabolcs-Szatmár), he performed national tasks in addition to communications authority tasks.
He also served on international working committees, so he had insight and influence on EU-related matters.

For a long time, as an engineering teacher, he participated in the education of professional youth, from vocational training to higher education.

He is a member of the national presidency of the Communications and Informatics Section (HIT) of the Hungarian Chamber of Engineers (MMK).
Awards: Certificate for outstanding professional work (HF, 1999); Gold Badge (MMK, 2009); “Employee of the Year” (NHH, 2010); Szilárd Zielinski Award (MMK, 2018); Silver Badge (Híradástechnikai Súdámányos Egyesület (HTE), 2022).
