    Between 1966 and 1968, he worked at the Computer Center of the Ferrous Metallurgy Directorate of the Ministry of Metallurgy and Mechanical Industry (KGM). Between 1968 and 1973, he participated in the development of a floating-point arithmetic system as a basic software developer at the Infelor Systems Technology Company. Later, as deputy head of the Organization Department, he led the development of the production management system of the Ganz-Mávag Engine and Transmission Factory Unit.

    Between 1973 and 1981, he was the head of the organization department of the International Computer Education Center (Numbers) of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office, where he contributed to the development of the SÁMÁN database management system. He taught database design, system design, and organization methodology.

    From 1982, as the managing director of the META-SYSTEM system development subsidiary of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) Computer and Management Company (SZÜV), he also dealt with company due diligence, database design and information systems design.

    Between 1990 and 1991, he was the Deputy Chief Financial Officer of COLONIA Insurance Company.

    From 1991 to 1992, he was the asset management director of COOPHOLDING Cooperative Asset Management Co. Ltd. (the first Hungarian cooperative asset management company), and then the managing director of the first Hungarian Cooperative Insurance Broker Ltd.

    Between 1992 and 2014, he was the managing director and owner of BC Szarvező és Tanácsadó Kft. He dealt with IT audit, IT security, organizational development, project management, and management consulting as an expert in these topics.
