Ferenc Sándor

He worked as an engineer at Standard, the Telecommunications Research Institute (TKI) and the Beloiannisz Communications Factory (BHG).

In 1953, he joined the Mathematical Research Institute as a post-graduate student in the field of electronic calculators. He was one of the first Hungarian programmers in the Cybernetics Research Group (KKCS) of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and later worked at the Central Physics Research Institute (KFKI) of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

Until his departure for Switzerland, he worked at the Institute of Industrial Economics and Plant Management (NIM IGÜSZI) of the Ministry of Heavy Industry.
