Paul Rudas

He began his professional career in 1975 at the Telecommunications Research Institute (TKI), where he worked as a research associate on digital simulation of computers.
From 1977, he worked at the Computer Center of the Budapest University of Technology (BME) on digital simulation of elements of IBM 360-370 systems and programming of input/output controllers.
From 1980, he worked as a senior research fellow at the Computer Center of the Ministry of Health (ESZTIK) on the development of digital epidemic spread models.

Private entrepreneur since 1982. First owner of Softcare Pjt. (later gmk., then kft.), where he developed software systems (ECG evaluation system for the Korányi TBC and Pulmonology Institute; general ledger accounting system for the Central Committee of the Hungarian Association of Gynecologists and Obstetricians).

In 1990, he and Gábor Karig founded Rudas & Karig Kft., where they developed GIS systems for large-scale networks (ELMÜ, Budapest Waterworks).
From 1994 to the present, he is the owner and managing director of piLINE Kft., founded together with Péter Scsaurszki. The company primarily deals with the development of geospatial information, technical information, maintenance and risk analysis systems for monitoring hazardous technologies, and geological research support systems (MOL, ALTEO, MÁFI); its profile includes the application of laser scanning procedures (archaeology, building surveying, mining).

Meanwhile, he was the editor-host of the ENTER television information program (1990-1993). From 1999 to 2002, he was the IT director of Millenáris Kht. during the period of the exhibition "Dreamers of Dreams, World-Speaking Hungarians".
