Gábor Rozsnyai
From 1972, in addition to teaching at the Computer Training Center (Számok) and its successor institution, the Computer Application Company (Számalk), he was involved in the development of teaching materials, the planning of computer training, and the interactive terminal-based educational system implemented there. Later, his interest turned to computer graphics and computer-aided design (CAD).
From 1976, his task at the State Administration Computer Service (ÁSZSZ) was to support the largest computer system in Hungary at the time - including operating and supplementing elements of the GCOS operating system.
Between 1978 and 1980, he worked at the Gedeon Richter Pharmaceutical Factory in Kőbánya, developing statistical programs in one of the smallest computer centers in the country (next to a TPA/i machine), and then developing a microprocessor system suitable for processing biologically active signals.
Since 1980, he has been actively involved in the so-called software export activity as an application developer, project manager and project organizer – in the organization of the companies UTORG, SOFTCOOP, Computer Partner, Montana, Datorg, Team HLC GmbH and Kft. He carried out these activities at the departments of IBM, BMW, Semperit, VAMED, PCD, Baywa, Deutsche Telekom, AUA, etc. operating in the German-speaking part of Europe.
Since 1999, he has been working as a consultant for AAM Consulting, a group of companies specializing in consulting and IT services. Among other things, he participated in the system adaptations for the computer world collapse (Y2K) predicted for the year 2000.
Between 1995 and 2004, he participated in the introduction of domestic integrated corporate management systems (e.g. the BaaN system) (Datorg Team Ltd.) and in their education (Gábor Dénes Technical College, General Entrepreneurship College, Szent István Economic Vocational High School).
Between 2004 and 2007, as a researcher at the Institute of Transport Sciences, he worked on the use of contactless electronic cards in transport, creating a prototype system, and also provided consultancy.
Between 2007 and 2016, he worked on the operational support and development of mainframe systems at global companies Unicredit Bank, IBM, T-Systems-ITSH, and ExxonMobil.
Since 1972, he has been actively involved in various professional communities of the Hungarian Association of Information Technology (NJSZT), the Hungarian Association of Information Technology (HTE), and since the 1990s, the Hungarian Association of Project Managers (PMSZ). He is the founder and president of the International HR Association, which has done a lot to improve the domestic HR culture (2000-2006).
