Ákos Reszler
In the first half of his career, he worked as a development engineer in key computer development projects, at the Electronic Measuring Devices Factory (EMG), and then at the Computer Engineering Coordination Institute (SZKI).
Between 1982 and 1992, he was the director of the computer technology company SCIL, a subsidiary of the Hungarian State Council, and from 1992 to 1994, he was the technical director of the Hungarian State Information and Communication Institute. Since 1994, he has been the CEO of Recognita Rt. (Nuance-Recognita Zrt., Scan-Soft Recognita, etc.).
He is the former president, executive and then honorary president of the Association of Information Technology Enterprises (IVSZ).
The professional success and international recognition of the Recognita software is demonstrated by the fact that it has repeatedly won the European Union's prestigious IT award, the European IT Prize.
His awards include: IT Manager of the Year Award (IVSZ, 1998); Dénes Gábor Award (Novofer Foundation, 1999); Knight's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary (2005).
