  • He graduated from the Department of Power Engineering in Kiev, but immediately switched to the then-emerging field of computer science. His first job was at the Software Application Development Laboratory (SOL) of the Computer Science Coordination Institute (SZKI).

    In 1969 he participated in the founding meetings of the Unified Computer System (ESZR) - as an assistant to Zsolt Náray. In 1972 he received hardware and software training at Siemens in Germany. His first successful task at Siemens was the development of the Konzol software, which was followed by exciting projects such as structured programming tools and measuring the efficiency of time-sharing systems.

    After being appointed director of the SZKI manufacturing and trading subsidiary SCIL in 1981, he was responsible for managing the group's software exports. He successfully launched this activity in Germany (Siemens, Triumph Adler, SAP, etc.), Austria and Sweden (Siemens Elema, LM Ericsson). This also included the production and (system) sale of the first Hungarian personal computers (M08X, Proper).

    After the 1990 regime change, he led German software companies, where they undertook software development with Hungarian experts, commissioned by Western European companies.
