  • He began his career in the field of IT in 1987 as a journalist at Mikrovilág, and a year later he became the editor-in-chief of the newspaper.

    Between 1990 and 1997, he was the editor-in-chief of the magazines Számítástechnika, later Computerworld-Számítástechnika, and from 1992 also PC World. His activities determined the domestic significance of the two magazines. As editor-in-chief, he participated in significant domestic events on many occasions as an invited speaker or moderator.

    In 1997, he became the CEO of an international software company, Scala ECE Hungary. From 1999, he headed the central office of the international telecommunications and information technology non-profit association ETIS in Brussels as director.

    Between 2001 and 2007, he worked at the www.origo.hu portal, and from 2003 as advertising director.

    After February 2007, he worked as an independent consultant. In 2009-2010, he was the advertising director of the daily newspaper Bors. From 2009, he worked as an independent communications consultant for the State Reform (ÁROP) and Electronic Public Administration Operative (EKOP) Programs Managing Authority of the National Development Agency (NFÜ).

    He initiated and was a founding member of the Hungarian Association of Leading Computer Scientists (VISZ) in 1994, when he was elected co-chair.

    He returned to Computerworld in 2014 as editor-in-chief.
    From January 15, 2020, he joined ITBUSINESS, where he is the director of the ITexec business unit.

    Supporting the late Tibor Gyurós, he was an active participant in the formation of the Association of Information Technology Enterprises (IVSZ) in the first half of the 1990s. – Since 2004, he has been an honorary member of the VISZ.

    In 2009, the NJSZT and the IVSZ awarded him the Lifetime Achievement Award for founding IT journalism in Hungary.
