  • After graduating from university, he worked as a hardware engineer at the Electrical Measuring Devices Factory (EMG), designing, implementing and testing central units and Input/Output interfaces.

    From 1972, he worked at the Computer Science Coordination Institute (SZKI) as a hardware-related software developer and then as a department head, designing and developing operating systems, adapting telecommunications access methods and database management systems to IBM compatible mainframe computers and PCs. He was also responsible for designing the IBM compatible mainframe architecture and developing BIOS and drivers for IBM compatible PCs.

    He has been involved in foreign projects since 1983. His task was to develop a hotel reservation and billing system at KIENZLE Gmbh (Austria), and then as a software developer at Commerzbank AG (West Germany), he designed, developed and tested the Quattro (Lotus 1-2-3 compatible) spreadsheet system.

    Between 1988 and 1989, he was the lead software developer at Novotrade Rt. He designed, developed and tested the Hungarian version of the Quattro spreadsheet system, and developed an account management system for the Magyar Kereskedelmi Bank.

    His last job was at Epson in California.
