  • In the summer of 1967, he was an intern at the Electronic Measuring Instruments Factory (EMG) as a quarterly program design mathematician from the József Attila University of Science and Technology (JATE) in Szeged. Here he became acquainted with the EMG 830-810 machine. At the same time, he participated in a course organized by the Electronic Measuring Instruments Factory (EMG). During the intern, he wrote a “musical” program (in machine code) for the EMG 830-810 machine, which played a contemporary piece of music - reading the “score” note by note.

    In 1968, he started working at the Information Processing Laboratory (Infelor), where he participated in the programming of an EMG 830 simulator and assembler EMG. (First, both the EMG 830 simulator and the EMG assembler were written in the Minsk-22 assembler, MISI, which is associated with the name of Vilmos Foltényi.)
    He also participated in the development of a text editor called S-Text, commissioned by the Central Physical Research Institute (KFKI).

    From 1970, he also worked as a second-year employee at the Automation Research Institute (AKI) of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He designed the PL/M programming language and implemented it in the macroprocessor developed by Ernő Farkas.

    In 1982, as a founding member of the ADATREND small cooperative, he participated in the implementation of IDOS (Interactive Disc Operating System), developed for the R22 computer, onto the PC of the Videoton Development Institute (VIFI).

    He worked in America from 1990. He previously worked at Information Builders Inc., where he was involved in porting the FOCUS database management system to personal computers.
    In 2000, he moved to Trepp LLC (New York), where he worked on banking systems development. In recognition of his work, he was appointed Vice President of Internet Developments of Information Builders.
    He retired from here in 2018.
