  • While writing his diploma thesis, he became familiar with programming the KFKI Ural-1 computer (“Numerical integration of functions using the Newton–Coates formula and programming it on the Ural-1 computer”).

    After university, he created metallurgical application systems – also requiring mathematical modeling – for the National Elliott 803B computer of the Ministry of Metallurgy and Mechanical Industry (KGM).

    From 1967 he worked at the INFELOR Systems Technology Company. His first task was to design a Target Computer (C1) and to prepare a functional simulation of it on another computer, in the design of which he participated as a team member (Honvédségi and VILATI). From 1972, as a department head, his task was first to establish the State Administration Computer Service (ÁSZSZ) computer center, and then the operation and maintenance organization.
    From 1976, its task was to operate the ESZR R36 computer center of the Computer Applications Research Institute (Számki) and, in cooperation with the National Computer Company (OSZV), to supply the ESZR machines with basic software.
    From 1979, for two years, he worked as a senior research fellow at the International Scientific Research Institute for Control Problems (MNIIPU) in Moscow, where his research topic was "Computer networks and their applications."

    From 1981 to the end of 1986, he was the system development director of the Computer Application Company (Számalk) (with 7 main departments and 250 employees). His duties included: integrating ESZR and MSZR systems before user installation, software trading and maintenance, developing reference applications, and supervising the operation of the Számalk ESZR computer center.

    Between 1987 and 1990, he was the Deputy Director of IT at the Hungarian Statistical Office.

    Between 1990 and 1995, as the organizational development and IT specialist director of Hungarocamion Rt., his task was to implement the integrated corporate management system (with a World Bank loan) and then provide network services to the 700 users.

    Until the end of 1996, he was a part-owner and managing director of Penta Plus Kft.

    Between 1997 and 2003, he worked on regional development as the senior advisor to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Water (KHVM), the Ministry of Transport and Water (KÖVIM), and the Ministry of Economy and Transport (GKM), and then as the head of the monitoring department, he worked on EU-funded projects.

    From 2003 to 2012, he worked as the head of the monitoring department and as a senior monitoring associate at the IT Information Society Public Company Limited, monitoring and on-site inspection of IT projects supported by the EU.
