László Madarász
From 1971 until his retirement, he was a lecturer at the Kecskemét College of Mechanical Engineering and Automation (GAMF - later the GAMF Faculty of the Neumann János University). His responsibilities included the introduction and teaching of digital circuit knowledge; he independently developed the subject group (Digital Technology, Digital System Technology, Microprocessor Knowledge, Microelectronics, Application of Microcontrollers, Development of Digital Circuits). He developed the topics, lecture and practical materials, measurement tasks, wrote the subject notes and teaching aids.
He was awarded a university doctorate in 1980, in the field of Computers and Peripherals.
He dealt with the hardware side of computer science and informatics. In addition to his teaching work, he was also a recognized professional writer, regularly publishing in the journals Elektronet, Rádiótechnika, Automatizálás, Korsőrő Technológiák, and his articles appeared in Elektrotechnika, Új Alaplap, and other publications. He has more than 500 publications and educational materials to his name.
Between 1984 and 2012, he was the head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Cybernetics (later the Department). In the 1970s, he was an active participant in the introduction of the computer science branch, and then in 1989, the technical informatics major. He organized and initially headed the Department of Informatics. From 1993, he was Deputy Director General, and from 1994 to 1995, Director General. He consulted 60 Scientific Student Circle (TDK) theses and 300 theses.
He published two professional books, 484 professional articles, 137 textbooks, notes, and educational aids; he continued his professional writing activities even after retirement.
Awards: Award for Excellent Work (1978, 1985), Silver Medal for Trade Union Work (2007), Pedagogical Service Medal (Minister of Human Resources, 2012), college awards, Technical Book Publishing House Author's Award (1987), Radio Technology Author of the Year Award (1998).
