Lajos Ludman
He began his professional career in 1983 as a programmer at the Láng Machine Factory, and then between 1985 and 1988 he was the head of the computer center.
Through the mediation of Comporgan Systems House, he was the manager of the Yemeni project of the English International Computers Limited (ICL) in Aden between 1988 and 1990.
After returning home, he worked as a project manager and then service director at the Hungarian company ICL, and between 1995 and 1998 he was the managing director of ICL Hungary Kft. Under his leadership, major projects were implemented, such as the MÁV's financial management system.
From 1998, he was the head of IDOM Rt., a financial institution-focused company, and after the merger of IDOM, he was the managing partner of the management consulting department of Deloitte & Touche.
Between 2001 and 2006, he was the CEO of KFKI Számítástechnikai Rt., which managed the KFKI Group, which was the largest Hungarian-owned IT company at the time, consisting of subsidiaries with various profiles.
Since then, he has been an entrepreneur and investor. In 2006, he and his partners purchased CARDNET Card Systems and Services Ltd., a company that supports bank card acceptance and operates payment systems, and has been its president since then. In 2015, CARDNET founded its subsidiary FestiPay, which provides cashless payment solutions for events and festivals across Europe.
He joined the RECASHER TECHNOLOGIES Ltd. startup in 2016 (they are developing an online advertising to offline sales (O2O) system; its US business launch was launched in Los Angeles in early 2020).
