During his university studies, he became involved in the development of ODRA 1013 computer-related software at the Process Control Department of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (VIK) of the Budapest University of Technology (BME). A related publication (written with a TDK co-author) was published in the journal Information-Electronics.
After graduating from university, he worked as an assistant professor and then as an assistant professor at the Department of Process Control of the BME VIK, where he was involved in the teaching of control engineering subjects, their modernization, and related research. He participated in the introduction and teaching of computer science education in the Instrumentation and Control Engineering department of the VIK.
In addition to teaching at the Department, he also participated in numerous industrial assignments; among these, the software development of the gas pipeline control system of the Brotherhood led by Károly Kondorosi, and the R10 computer system of the matrix board control system for the Moscow Olympics are noteworthy.
In the mid-1980s, he was the project manager for the software development of a mine security access control hardware/software system based on the Videoton VT-16, developed by the Department of Process Control; the system was installed in several domestic coal mines and in China.
From 1987, he worked for several years in Germany as a systems analyst at the electronic publications department of the Bertelsmann Electronic Printing Service GmbH concern, where he dealt with automated document processing and the development of industrial and commercial CD-ROM applications.
Utilizing his experience at Bertelsmann, he contributed to the creation of the Hungarian electronic publishing culture as the founder and co-manager of Hypermedia Systems Ltd. until his death. This resulted in, among other things, the trilingual collection of legal acts (which included a subscription-based legal act database with a time machine) and other multimedia CD-ROMs.
Upon returning home, he worked at IQSOFT Intelligent Software Development, Manufacturing and Sales Co. Ltd. from 1991. As an expert in document processing systems, he was the manager of the domestic introduction of several such document processing systems (e.g. DOKTÁR document retrieval system).
His career was cut short by his death at the young age of 50.
