  • Between 1979 and 1991, as a software researcher at the Measurement and Computing Research Institute (MSZKI) of the Central Physical Research Institute (KFKI), he first created experimental systems in the field of the implementation of the relational database concept and office automation (REFLEX and KOMPAKT, until 1985), and then participated in the creation of the first major Oracle-based information systems (Scope Control DataBase).

    Between 1992 and 1996, he worked at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Information Technology Foundation, where he contributed to the international standardization of process management (SPICE) and applied leading-edge methods and tools in the field of software technology - from 1996 onwards, he was associated with KFKI-IBIS (Ion Beam Information System).

    Between 2000 and 2004, he led EU (SILK) and national (SINTAGMA) R&D projects in the field of semantic integration as a project manager for KFKI Számítástechnikai Rt. and IQSOft, with the aim of developing Prolog-based experimental systems.

    Between 2005 and 2010, he prepared professional analytical studies as an expert on behalf of the National Council for Information and Communications (NHIT) in Bálint Dömölki's future research IT3 project on the following topics: report-based technologies; business intelligence; service-based applications; utility-like IT services; computer text analysis; web2.0.
    Most of his studies were published in the volume “Informatics in Heaven and Earth” published by Typotex in 2008. He has also edited several study volumes related to business intelligence and process management (e.g. “Business Knowledge Deep in the Data”) and contributed to them with his own studies.

    Since 2006, he has contributed to the formation and development of the domestic service management culture (ITSM/ITIL) as a consultant in his own business and as a trainer in adult training organized by the IQSoft-John Bryce Training Center.
    He will continue his activities in this field as a retiree from 2019.
