Gergely Krammer
After graduating from university, his professional interest led him to the then emerging field of computer graphics - he is an internationally recognized expert in this field.
Between 1959 and 1961, he was an assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Chemical Industry of Veszprém (VVE). Between 1961 and 1968, he worked as a research associate at the Computer Center of the Central Physics Research Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (KFKI). Between 1968 and 1970, he was a research associate at the National Management Training Institute (OVK) of the Ministry of Labor (MÜM), and then between 1990 and 1997, he was a research associate at the Electronics Department of the Institute of Computer Science and Automation of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (SZTAKI). He retired in 1997.
Due to his teaching vocation, he taught various subjects as a lecturer at the Faculty of Natural Sciences (TTK) of ELTE since 1962. Between 2000-2005, he was a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University (PPKE), where he was an enthusiastic instructor of the subject Introduction to Programming, and later, in the higher grades, Basics of Computer Graphics.
From 2005 to 2012, he was a part-time research associate at the Faculty of Informatics of ELTE, teaching computer graphics and software ergonomics.
His research areas are computer graphics and software ergonomics.
