In 1965, he was one of the founders of the Information Processing Laboratory (Infelor); he was also head of department at its successor institution, the Computer Research Institute (Számki).
After the establishment of the Computer Application Company (Számalk) in 1982, he was the head of the Application Development Office (AFI), and then, after its independence, its director.
