  • After his university studies, he was a design engineer for the Hungarian People's Army, as well as the head of the Electrical Department of the Aviation Technical College and the chief engineer of the electrical engineering branch of the Air Force.

    From 1957 he was the development manager of the Híradástechnika Szövetkezet (HTSZ), its technical manager between 1963-1973, and then its president until 1992. Under his leadership, HTSZ became the largest and most successful industrial cooperative in the country, one of the most modern plants in the Hungarian electronics industry – recognized abroad as well. By the end of the 1980s, the cooperative provided a living for nearly 1,600 employees in Budapest, Balatonlelle and Fonyód.

    From 1993 he was the managing director of Híradástechnika Trade Kft.

    From 1970 he was a member of the National Council of OKISZ (later known as the Hungarian Federation of Industries), later a member of the Presidency, and was its social chairman between 1986 and 1991. From 1981 to 1990 he was also chairman of the Telecommunication Scientific Association (HTE).
