Márta Mikis Kőrös
Since 1984, when the so-called School Computer Program was launched, he has been involved in the research and development of the educational application of informatics, as a scientific associate of the National Pedagogical Institute and then the National Institute of Public Education. He is an expert, supervisor and researcher of domestic and international projects related to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
He defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic of the educational use of computers.
in 1987. Between 1988 and 1990, he was a leading national computer technology consultant; he worked with many schools on a daily basis, helping them develop their unique, experimental computer science curricula and preparing expert opinions for the ministry. During his work, he paid special attention to the dissemination of innovative pedagogical initiatives in education and the effective use of digital tools.
Between 1997 and 2008, he participated in professional training courses (leader, textbook consultant, webmaster, ICT facilitator, Sulinet expert).
A well-known Hungarian expert in the educational application of ICT, organizer of further training courses, conferences, and lecturer. Founding member of the Association of Informatics and Computer Science Teachers (ISZE), president between 2007-2013. In 2003, he founded the Children's Informatics Professional Workshop and has been leading the ICT use classes for the 4-12 age group since then.
He is the author and editor of nearly 300 professional publications. He is the author of several computer science textbooks, and his book "We Learn Computer Science" won the Best Computer Science Book of the Year award in 2000.
He has been a member of the Hungarian Society of Journalists since 1984. The Hungarian Society honored his professional work with the Tarján Award in 1999.
