Kalman Kokas

He worked at the Telephone Factory until 1969, where he dealt with the calibration and commissioning of data and voice transmission measuring instruments, and then carrier frequency equipment.

After that, he worked at INFELOR Systems Technology Company until 1976, where his tasks were related to computer application technology, design and machine selection, and network design.

For the next 15 years (until 1990), as head of the Systems Engineering Office at the State Administration Computer Service (ÁSzSz), his task was to maintain and develop one of the most significant domestic computer systems.

He was the head of the IT and Computer Engineering Directorate at Magyar Hitel Bank (MHB) until 1996. He then worked as a project manager at Compaq until 1999; then as a customer relations manager at Unisys until 2008.

He has received several state and corporate awards for his work.
