    Between 1980 and 1985, he worked as a research associate at the Budapest University of Technology (BME) in the fields of coherent optics, holography, and optical computers. He participated in the project "Analysis of biological sections with coherent optical methods." In 1981, he earned a doctoral degree in biophysics from the József Attila University of Science (JATE).

    Between 1985 and 1990, he was a department manager, then a department manager, and finally the head of the Expert Systems Research Laboratory at the Computer Applications Company (Számalk). His area of expertise: artificial intelligence tools and applications. Projects: Genesys expert framework development, medical and technical expert systems development, knowledge base analysis program development.

    From 1991 to 1993, he was a senior research fellow at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' Computer Science and Automation Research Institute (SZTAKI). His research area was artificial intelligence tools in the human-machine relationship. He worked on the development of a knowledge base analysis program.

    Between 1993 and 2005, he was the founder, owner and managing director of Cognitech Informatikai Kft., and then from 2005, Cognitech Intelligens Technológiák Kft. His areas of expertise include digital video technology, computerized CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) systems, image processing, process control systems, RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) technology, mobile informatics, computerized competition management systems.
    The projects undertaken by the company include: creation of multimedia systems; CityGuard computer surveillance center; DocuBase document management system; development of mobile IT systems; development, installation and operation of the RingView integrated race management system for international race tracks (Hungaroring, SlovakiaRing).

    Professional organization memberships: 12 members of the IFIP Technical Committee, member of the editorial board of the journal AI Communications, former chair of the NJSZT Artificial Intelligence Department.

    Award: Kalmár Prize (NJSZT, 1991).
