  • He began his career in research institutes. He worked at the Telecommunications Research Institute (TKI) from 1971. Between 1973 and 1985, he was a development engineer at the Information Technology Industrial Research Institute (HIKI) (design of automatic measuring machines for functional testing of integrated circuits). Between 1985 and 1989, he was a colleague at the Eötvös Lóránd Geophysical Institute (ELGI).

    Between 1989 and 1991, he was a commercial business manager at Microsystem Computer Science Co., Ltd.
    From 1991, he was the founding managing director of the Hungarian subsidiary of Computer 2000, a large international computer distribution company headquartered in Munich. The company was later acquired by the American giant Tech Data, whose leading wholesale subsidiary in Hungary he continued to manage as managing director until 1998.

    In 1999, he became the Deputy Chief Commercial Officer of Montana Information Technology and Communication Co., Ltd.; then from 1999 to 2001, he was the Commercial and Marketing Director of IBM Hungary (personal computer and software business unit).
    From 2001 to 2014, he was the Hungarian Managing Director of Digital Network Services (DNS), a company engaged in value-added distribution of IT infrastructure, and later of Arrow ECS, a global technology support company.
