János Juhasz
Between 1956 and 1967, he worked on statistical information tasks and economic analyses at the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
Between 1967 and 1968, he was an independent group leader at the Economic Research Institute (GKI).
Between 1968 and 1980, he was a political associate, later head of the sub-department, and then deputy head of the department, of the economic policy department of the Central Committee (KB) of the Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party (MSZMP).
In the 1970s, he dealt with the coordination of the concept and operating conditions of government information systems. Part of this was the strategy for the computer technology developments of the Central Statistical Office and the ministries, and their tool developments, the theses of which he summarized in his 1975 study entitled “Some Questions on the Development of the National Economic Information System”.
In early 1981, he was appointed director of the National Computer Company (OSZV), and then in 1982, CEO of the Computer Application Company (Számalk).
He was a holder of the gold degree of the Order of Labor Merit.
