He was the head of department of the National Technical Development Committee (OMFB) and an advisor to Deputy Chairman János Sebestyén.
His main field of expertise is research into the economic and social impacts of technological development and the publication of the results. He has participated in the preparation of many economic analysis studies as an author, editor or coordinator.
His economic studies significantly contributed to the exploration of the state of Hungarian technical development and computer technology. He was the first economist to analyze the impact of computer technology on the workforce structure.
Award: Academic Award, 1st degree (MTA, 1962).
