  • He has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Natural Sciences (TTK) of ELTE since 1979, and then at the Faculty of Informatics (IK) since its establishment in 2003.

    In the 1980s, he actively participated in launching the computer science (later informatics) teaching program, teaching the subjects, and popularizing the program.

    In 1981, he established and headed a Braille laboratory equipped with talking computers at the university; this significantly improved the learning conditions for blind university students.

    In 1996, he developed teaching materials on the topic of distance learning, information technology, and the relationship between people with disabilities. Future teachers were able to learn about computer use and communication among people with disabilities, helping with later integrated education.

    In addition to education, it also provided assistance, mentoring, and rehabilitation to students and adults with disabilities.
    From 1980 to 2002, he assisted students in the field of computer science at ELTE TTK; from 2003 to 2020, he was the disability coordinator at ELTE's Faculty of Informatics.

    Since 2008, he has participated in several European Union projects with the Public Foundation for Equal Opportunities for Disabled People and its successor organization. He worked as a leading expert on the topic of “Ensuring Equal Access”.
    In 2008-2009, he participated in the work of the John von Neumann Computer Science Society (NJSZT) group developing the adaptation of the ECDL exam system for visually impaired people.

    From 2012 to 2019, he participated in organizing IT competitions for high school students and creating tasks - as a member of the competition committee of the Tihamér Nemes and the National Secondary School Study Competition in Informatics (OKTV).
    He has published the results of his activities at numerous conferences, in journals, and in book chapters.

    Member of the Hungarian National Association of Teachers; Secretary of the Talent Development Department since 2011.
    Since 2005, he has been the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Information Technology Foundation for the Visually Impaired (INFOALAP).

    Honors: "Master Teacher" title (ELTE IK, 2004); Tarján Memorial Medal (NJSZT, 2011); "Pro Universitate Memorial Medal" silver grade (ELTE, 2020).
