Tibor Gyulay
After obtaining his degree in mechanical engineering, he worked as a development engineer at the Lenfonó és Szővőipari Vállalat. In 1983, he joined the Ministry of Culture, where he worked as a college lecturer. After that, he worked as a lecturer in organization, management, economics and as a teacher of education at the Budapest University of Technology (BME).
In 1986, he founded the BME Management College, which is a professional community that still operates today. Since 1988, he has been working in his own companies – POZITEAM Ltd., then KM EXPERT Ltd. – as a trainer, organizational developer, and coach. He has participated in numerous domestic and foreign trainer and consultant training courses: REFA, TA 100, NLP, Herstein Institute.
By 2018, representatives from hundreds of organizations had participated in its open or remote training courses on topics such as time management, project management, leadership development, team building, and presentation. Its prominent clients included, among others, the following companies: Taurus/Michelin, Paksi Atomerőmű, Ganz David Brown, Robert Bosch, Budapest Bank
He is considered a domestic pioneer of knowledge management (TM) consulting. He participated in the founding of the Knowledge Management Working Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He has been a participant or leader of numerous domestic and foreign knowledge management projects; the International Atomic Energy Agency regularly invites him to TM development projects. He regularly publishes on the topic. Within the framework of the TM workshop of KM EXPERT Kft., founded in 2014, he does a lot to promote the topic in Hungary.
