Péter Garami
He worked at the Computer Coordination Institute (SZKI) from 1971; he was a member of the R-10/R-12/R-15 development team. In 1988-1989, he participated in the development of a data modeling tool at Cognos in Canada.
From 1989, he worked at IQSOFT on the microprogram level and then hardware support of the MProlog language, and was the designer of the Prolog processor. Later, he was a software developer in the database projects of Bank Austria, then a project manager and quality assurance manager.
From 2005, he worked as a project manager, license manager and service manager at IQSYS, leading the server virtualization project. In 2006, he obtained a manager-level ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification. From 2012 to 2015, he developed and operated a data consistency and data quality control framework for internal operational support systems at T-Systems.
During the above 44 years, he did not change jobs, the companies transformed right above his desk.
He has been the managing director of Multiware Bt. since 1996; since 2015, he has been working on data models used in ITIL-based service management tools, and on the problems of mass data management and visualization.
Since 2016, he has been the secretary of the NJSZT Informatics History Forum (iTF).
