Gyula Galló

From 1972, he worked at the computer center of the Computer and Management Company (SZÜV) in Győr until 1986. Here he became familiar with various hardware architectures (CII, IBM, SIEMENS, BULL), machine code and high-level programming languages, and modern system organization technologies.

In 1986, he and his colleagues formed the predecessor of Szintézis Gmk., which was a business form that was within the possibilities of the time. In view of their success, in 1989, at the suggestion and in cooperation with a state-owned company, the Saldo-Szintézis subsidiary was established.

He then founded Szintézis Informatikai Rt. with his partners, where he worked as a commercial director. As one of the main owners of the Rt. and also as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, he planned and coordinated the market, domestic and foreign business policy and company-building strategy of the Rt.'s activities.

Although Szintézis is headquartered in Győr, it has established branches in several major cities in the country, including Budapest, Szeged, and Salgótarján. It has established subsidiaries in Romania and Slovakia (Nagyvárad, Galánta).
The group also includes Szintézis –NET, which specializes in software development for export (USA). The main profile of Szintézis is the design, development and operation of commercial IT systems - also in two neighboring countries. In this profile, especially due to its application in retail chains, they have achieved a market leading position.

From 2003, he was a member of the board of the Association of Information Technology Enterprises (IVSZ) for a while.

Award: Entrepreneur of the Year - posthumous award (National Association of Entrepreneurs, VOSZ, 2005).
