Tamás Fodor

Following the launch of the computer technology profile of the Videoton Company (1971), he developed teletypewriters, modems, and terminals as head of the Data Transmission Department. From 1976, he managed the Application Software Laboratory (development of data recorders, word processors, production management, and administrative software systems).

1982-től a Központi Fizikai Kutatóintézet (KFKI), az Számítástechnikai Koordinációs Intézet (SZKI) és az Videoton közös vállalata, a Számítástechnikai Kísérleti Üzem Betéti Társulás (SZKÜBT) igazgatójává nevezték ki: itt gyártották az intézetek fejlesztéseit (TPA, R15) és a Videoton speciális rendszereit (pl. Ferihegy 2 utas tájékoztató rendszer).
1987-től a Videoton Automatika Közös Vállalat (VAKV) igazgatója, ahol feladatuk a robotika és automatizálás bevezetése volt (szerelő-, hegesztő, oktató robot, szerszámgép vezérlő fejlesztése, gyártása). (Az Ipari Misztérium által elindított Átfogó Minőségvezetési Rendszer alkalmazása során a cég 1990-ben IIASA-Shiba díjat nyert.)

From 1992 he worked as CEO at the Ganz Machine Factory Group. (Ganz David Brown Ltd. won the National Quality Award in 1997; and in 1999 it was a finalist in the European Quality Award competition.)

From 2002 to 2004, he held CEO positions at the Körte group of companies, which operates in the field of environmental protection.
Between 2008 and 2012, he worked as a retired sole proprietor in management consulting; he presented at numerous conferences on corporate and organizational development.

Social activity: Fejér County Secretary of the Neumann János Computer Science Society (1976-1990), European Quality Award auditor (1998-2002), Member of the Board of Directors of the Hungarian Quality Society (1998-2002), Member of the TÜV Rheinland Steering Committee (2002-2015).

Honors: Ambassador of the National Quality Award (Alliance for Excellence, 1998), Hungarian Quality Society Medal (Hungarian Quality Society, 1999).
