  • After working at PHYLAXIA and Brüel & Kjaer, he joined the Software Import-Export department of Novotrade Rt. in early 1991, where he was entrusted with the management of Microsoft products.

    Later that year, he was transferred to the Computer Applications Company (Számalk), where a Hungarian Microsoft distribution also operated.
    He was a product manager, deputy director of distribution, and then, from 1994, director of Számalk Software Distribution.

    After the integration of Hardware Distribution Ltd. (Compaq computer wholesale), he has been a member of the management and ownership of Számalk since 1995. As Deputy Chief Commercial Officer, he participated in the founding of PMG Rendszerház Ltd., Codra Ltd. (Corel distribution), DelphiSoft Ltd. (Borland distribution) and SVED INFORMATIKA Informatikai és Kereskedelmi Zrt. (Microsoft OEM distribution).

    Since the end of 1999, he has been the managing director of Oki Systems Hungary Computer and Office Technology Ltd., the Hungarian representative company of the Japanese company Oki. In addition to Hungary, he was also responsible for the markets of Bulgaria, Romania, Albania and the former Yugoslav republics.

    From 2010, he performed IT management tasks at Magyar Telekom - dealing with various topics at Magyar Telekom, Deutsche Telekom, and T-Systems Hungary Zrt. With the exception of a single detour to an energy company (VPP Zrt. 2017), he held managerial and middle management positions at the Magyar Telekom group until 2020.

    He has been involved in the work of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Coalition since the beginning of 2019, later as the head of the Technology and Security working group. He participated in the creation of the National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence. Since September 2020, he has been the coordinator of the “Artificial Intelligence National Strategy” project, led by the Computer Science and Automation Research Institute (SZTAKI), primarily established to promote applied research.

    He has been a member of the Association of Information Technology, Telecommunications and Electronics Enterprises (IVSZ) since its establishment; he has been the chairman of the Ethics and Disciplinary Committee since 2014.
