Ors Eory
In 1968, he was employed as a laboratory assistant at the NIM Institute of Industrial Economics and Operations Management (IGÜSZI), working with the ELLIOTT 803B computer. His work included providing the necessary folders and punched tapes for the machine's operation in the computer room, as well as keeping records of machine parts. – In addition to the three-shift work schedule, he participated in SIEMENS punching and machine operator courses. In 1969, he also completed a specialized course in the FORTRAN programming language.
In 1971 he was assigned to lead the ELLIOTT group; in 1971 he was appointed head of the computer department operating the new ICL 1903/A computer. – In 1972 (alongside the university) he completed the courses in Data Processing and in 1973 the courses in Computer Operator II.
He actively participated in directing the installation work of the R22 and RC3600 computers in 1978, for which he was awarded in 1978 and 1979.
In 1980, he participated in the NIM Further Training Center's corporate mid-level management training, and then in 1981, he completed the KSH "Data Protection for Managers" course. In 1982, he was a representative of the data recorder's corporate economic working group. In 1984, he was assigned to the position of department head of the NIM IGÜSZI Computer Center.
Since January 1989, he has been regularly managing IT developments as the managing director of the privatized Szenzor Computer Center Ltd.
From 1985, he was a member of the management team of the NJSZT Computer Center until the department's closure in 1994.
Awards: Ministerial Commendation in 1978 (Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, 1978); Ministerial Award for Excellent Work (1979).
