Between 1966 and 1970, he taught at the Miskolc I. Industrial Vocational High School (later Baross Gábor Vocational High School), and from 1970 to 2007, at the Miskolc Földes Ferenc High School.
A "Földesben" 1968-ban indult az első speciális matematika szakos osztály, itt tanítottak először számítástechnikát az országban. 1970-ben Obádovics J. Gyula tartott egy számítógépes tanfolyamot a miskolci Nehézipari Műszaki Egyetemen (NME), amelyen ő is részt vett. Az első héten gépi kódot, a következőn egy ALGOL-szerű nyelvet tanultak – éjszakánként írva saját programjaikat. A Földes Ferenc Gimnázium 1971-ben egy TPA i 1001/számítógépet kapott; Dusza ettől kezdve számítástechnikát oktatott.
In addition to teaching his subjects, he was deputy director of education from 1970 to 1972, head of the computer science laboratory from 1972 to 1984, and county and then national computer science consultant from 1985 to 1990.
In 1987, he was among the first to receive the Jenő Tarján Memorial Medal, which is awarded to outstanding figures in IT education and further training.
During the summer, Földes High School regularly organized a computer science camp for 40 students at its resort in Bogács.
In 2005, his book "Algorithms in Pascal" won the title of "Informatics Textbook of the Year" established by the Association of Informatics and Computer Science Teachers (ISZE).
For 4 years (1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998) his students participated in the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI). In 1997, they won a silver medal in Cape Town.
Since 2008, the ISZE has organized the Árpád Dusza National Programming Memorial Competition, in which high school teams of three compete against each other. The final is hosted by Földes Ferenc High School every year.

- The last sentences of the 2006 interview: "Children would most often only learn – if it were up to them – what they can immediately apply, what can be used to make money quickly, that is, what is currently fashionable in the market. However, this is not the purpose of high school. We need to lay the foundations so that later, with a more mature mind, everyone can decide what to build on."
