László Cserny
Between 1968 and 1972, he worked on electromagnetic wave propagation issues and the radiation efficiency of broadcasting transmitters at the Technical Directorate of the Hungarian Post Office. Between 1972 and 1988, he was a lecturer in computer science at the Ybl Miklós Construction Technical College (YMÉMF), an associate professor, and the head of the Computer Science Laboratory.
He earned his doctorate in 1975 from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Budapest University of Technology (BME); and his PhD in 2002 from the Budapest University of Economics and Public Administration (BKÁE) in the field of management and organizational science.
Between 1989 and 1991, he was first the chief designer of the ÉGSZI-INNOVA Organizational Subsidiary, then the system analysis project manager of DASY Decision and System Analysis Ltd., and the senior associate and office manager of TUDORG Information Technology and Organizational Company. From 1991, he was the managing director of Decision Information Technology Bt., dealing with decision analysis and decision support consulting.
From 1994 to 2013, he was a lecturer and professor at Dunaújváros College (DUF); director of the Institute of Informatics, head of the Department of Computer Systems and Control Engineering. In addition, from 1994 to 2008, he was a professor at Gábor Dénes College (GDF). Between 2014 and 2015, he was a professor and director of the GDF Institute of Informatics; from 2015, he was a professor emeritus at the college. Member of the board of the Computer Science Department of the Hungarian Association of Information and Communication Technologies (HTE).
