    He began his career in 1974 at the Telecommunications Research Institute (TKI) in the areas of face recognition, digital signal processing, and the application of computer technology in healthcare (digital processing and analysis of ECG signals).

    From 1982, he worked as a scientific associate at the Measurement and Computing Research Institute (MSZKI) of the Central Physical Research Institute (KFKI) of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, working on microprocessor systems, digital image processing and shape recognition, and microcomputer applications. Between 1984 and 1986, he participated in the international Vega space research program aimed at observing Halley's Comet, developing the ground station of the camera observation and recognition system.

    Since 1987, he has been the head of the software sales department of the Microsystem Computer Cooperative (later Rt.).

    Between 1991 and 1998, he was the managing director of 3Soft Számítástechnikai és Kereskedelmi Kft. The company, which was Hungarian at the time of its launch and later joined “multi”, started as a joint software wholesale business of the three major competitors of the 1990s (Controll, Microsystem, Műszertechnika): it represented and sold the products of renowned American computer manufacturers. With its turnover, it was one of the most influential distribution businesses in Hungary at that time.

    After that, he was the business development director of Geometria Geoinformatikai Rendszerház, Duna Elektronikai Kft., and then for several years at piLINE Kft.

    After retirement, he participated in the management of international healthcare infocommunication projects at BME and taught as an external lecturer at the Small Business Development Center of the Corvinus University of Budapest (BCE).
    He is a member of the editorial board of the NJSZT Informatics History Forum (iTF) Data Archive.

    He was a member of several professional and advocacy associations and their governing bodies at different times: Measurement and Automation Scientific Association (MATE); NJSZT; eVITA; Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE); Association of Informatics, Telecommunications and Electronics Enterprises (IVSZ); Business Software Alliance (BSA); founding member of the latter two.

    For his work, he was awarded the Bronze Medal of the Order of Merit in 1986.
