Antal Bodi

He began his career as a lecturer and head of the Computer Center at the György Bessenyei Teacher Training College in Nyíregyháza.
He then headed the Nyíregyháza Regional Center of the NIIF (National Information Infrastructure Development Program). At the same time, between 1996 and 1999, he was the managing director of Szab-I-Net Kht. (the first cable TV-based broadband internet service in Hungary). He supported the establishment of cable TV-based internet service providers in several cities in Hungary and Romania.

In 1999-2000, he worked on the development of the Broadband and Chello national broadband internet services at UPC; and in 2001-2002, he was a project manager in the DVB-T project at Antenna Hungária.

Between 2002 and 2010, he participated in the development of the Párbeszéd Fórum e-government application and the Customer Gateway service at Kopint-Datorg Zrt. as the strategic director of www.magyarorszag.hu, and then managed government IT security projects as the IT Security Manager. In 2005, he went on a two-month e-government study trip to Japan.

In 2010/2011, he was a Europe Aid e-Government IT Key Expert in Albania.
From 2011, as the IT security officer of the National Infocommunications Service Company (NISZ), he supervised several government IT security projects (the most important ones: electronic Personal Identification Card (eSZIG); document authentication traced back to identification; Electronic Health Service Space (EESZT); 112 unified emergency call system; government authentication service provider; local government application service).

Since 2016, he has been the head of the ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) Certification Office at the Institute of Transport Sciences and Logistics (KTI) (professional and research areas: development of ITS ecosystem; transport digitalization and energy security; evaluation of a unified system of data provided to transport systems, transport companies and passengers based on European standards).

Lecturer at the Donát Bánki Faculty of Mechanical and Security Engineering of Óbuda University (ÓE) in the Information Security Engineer/Specialist professional training program.
He has been participating in EU projects as a cybersecurity expert since 2019.

Member of the ISZB (Infocommunication Expert Committee) of the Hungarian Association of Telecommunications and Informatics (HTE) since 2013; public body member of the Transport and Vehicle Science Committee of the VI. Department of Technical Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) since 2023.
