  • He began his career in 1958 at the Cybernetics Research Group (KKCS) of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, where he participated in the operation of the country's first computer, the M-3, and then in the programming and testing of mathematical problems in machine code. He worked at the KKCS and its successor institute, the Computer Science Center of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, until 1970.

    After the birth of his children, between 1970 and 1975, he worked in the software department of the National Planning Office's Computer Center (OT SZK), researching and developing applications for the ICL basic software. His interest soon turned to the possibilities of remote data processing. He often held sales for the office's employees in the field of computer science and data transmission.

    Between 1975 and 1985, he was a research associate at the Computer Applications Research Institute (Számki) and then at the Computer Applications Company (Számalk); remote data processing remained his main area of interest. As a department head, he also participated in the development of start-up applications and in the training of staff.

    Between 1985 and 1996, he had the opportunity to implement and implement remote data processing in practice at the HungarHotels hotel chain. He headed the department established for the “back office” (payroll, inventory management, etc.) data processing of hotels operating in Budapest and several rural towns (23 in total), where a data transmission network was created to solve the task. The network, which was connected to the central computer (Hewlett Packard) via leased telephone lines and was established with microcomputers, was among the first in the country.

    From 1996 to 2005, he worked in a family business, developing software for PC applications for various companies and training the companies' employees.

    He participated in several professional conferences, had his papers published, and wrote several professional educational articles and manuals.
