István Aczél
From 1935 to 1945 he was an insurance official in Budapest.
Between 1945 and 1950, he worked as a department head in the Ministry of Welfare, and then between 1950 and 1957, in the Ministry of Health.
Between 1957 and 1960, as head of the application department of the Cybernetics Research Group of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (KKCS) - as the organizer of the first applications of the M-3 machine - he dealt with issues of the application of mathematical methods in the national economy and the dissemination of the application of mathematical methods in the national economy. He was one of the pioneers of the introduction of computers in Hungary.
Between 1960 and 1962, he was the director of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' Computer Science Center, the legal successor to the KKCS.
